We invite applications from interested candidates for the following positions:
1. Project Officer – Child not Bride (Open to all applicants, Fixed term employment until December 2025) based in Regional Office East Dhanusha
Responsibility: Ensure effective project implementation, provide managerial support in the district, and act as liaison between partner organization and Plan International Nepal regional offices on a regular basis. Ensure all required reports both narratives and database are sent on time with quality standards. Ensure partner staff receives adequate training and support to deliver projects, including but not limited to, thematic/technical trainings, PMD Pro tools and guidance on Plan’s project cycle procedures. Support Project Manager in planning processes and support to partners to prepare annual detailed implementation plan including realistic phased budget outlining major activities and timeline for the funds allocated in required planning templates provided by the Organization.
2. Project Manager-Girls Get Equal 2.0 Project (Open to all applicants, Fixed term employment until Dec 2029) based in Regional Office West – Surkhet
Responsibility: Ensure effective project implementation, provide strategic and managerial support, and act as liaison between partner organization and Plan International Nepal on a regular basis. Where necessary provide capacity building directly or by involving the appropriate department (either technical or support), carry out partners’ assessment as required by the projects and organization, make necessary capacity building plan and ensure its implementation. Ensure budgets are phased and include appropriate WBS and program codes, follow up with transaction reports on bi-weekly/monthly basis to ensure adequate burn rate aligning with the time spend. Coordinate and hold regular review meetings across sectors to avoid duplication of effort and to keep all key staff up to date. Ensure staffing is appropriate to reach project goals and their Level of Effort (LOE) is coded appropriately per the budget.
3. People and Culture Assistant (Open to all applicants, Fixed term employment until 2 years from the date of employment) based in Country Office Kathmandu
Responsibility: Ensure all the information in HRIS are up-to-date and clean up the data as and when required, and keep the track of changes made in the excel sheet for future reference. Generate reports and information from HRIS as needed (staff information, leave, performance management, etc.). Track probation period and ensure probation review is completed and necessary documents are prepared and provided to staff. Work closely with People & Culture Department in onboarding of new staff (logistical and orientation)
Support the People & Culture team in coordinating to carry out its operations smoothly. Coordinate and collaborate with staff to follow up on documents, surveys, etc. Assist the team in audit processes (statutory, Global, project, or tax audits) as required.
