The National Examination Board (NEB) of Nepal is giving one last chance to Grade 11 and 12 students who failed their exams or got low grades (D or E grades) to improve their results. This opportunity is specifically for students whose registration numbers start with 56 or above and are below 77 for Grade 12, and below 76 for Grade 11.
Students need to submit their application forms through their schools by December 12, 2024. The registration fee is Rs. 1,000 per subject or section. Schools must collect these forms and submit them to the NEB office by December 17, 2024, along with payment proof and other necessary documents.
Eligibility Criteria
Students are eligible to apply if they:
- Have previously studied in NEB-affiliated schools/colleges
- Failed certain subjects or received D/E grades in the old grading system
- Have registration numbers starting with 56 or higher and below 77 for Grade 12
- Have registration numbers starting with 56 or higher and below 76 for Grade 11

- Schools must submit collected forms by: December 17, 2024 (Poush 2, 2081)
- Fee Structure:
- Registration fee: NPR 1,000 per section/grade
- Same fee applies for practical-only subjects
- Payment methods: Direct bank deposit or digital payment gateways
- Online Registration:
- Schools must enter student details online at https://exam.neb.gov.np
- Online entry period: November 16 to November 30, 2024 (Mangsir 1 to Mangsir End, 2081)
Students can only register for the subjects they failed or got poor grades in. They must take the exam according to their old course syllabus. All forms must be filled out by the students themselves, and schools need to enter these details online through the NEB website (exam.neb.gov.np) between November 16-30, 2024. The exam centers and dates will be announced later after all registrations are complete.
