The government has decided not to take the Secondary Education (SEE) examination of 2076 BS. Recognizing the internal evaluation done by the school, the cabinet meeting on Wednesday has decided not to conduct the SEE examination this time as per the old practice.
Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel said that the exams could not be held due to the ongoing curfew and quarantine in schools.
He informed that the government has decided to consider the internal evaluation of the school as the basis of the examination. The internal assessment of the school will be verified by the National Examination Board and this time the way out of the SEE examination will be found.
After the government’s decision, the way has now been opened for the school to evaluate the SEE of the students and determine the grade, but it has become clear that there will be no examination from the old system.
