TU SOM published notice regarding Admission of MBA IT & MBA GLM.
The MBA IT program seeks to develop professional skills in students needed to successfully manage information technology increasingly ingrained across industries and business functions. This program strives both to depen knowledge in applied business administration and develop computer programming and information technology skills relevant for business and management careers.
The graduates will be prepared for leadership positions in IT and online businesses, becoming IT entreprenerurs, and heading IT department in organizations that use informationa and communications technology.They obtain competencies required for the success in managing IT professionals in organizations.
Students will undertake research projects in the IT area, which inculcate in them the skills to develop useful software programs and applications alongside the core academic curriculum. The program is designed to equip students with the insights, analytical capabilities and skills to meet the challanges facing IT business leaders and entrepreneurs, and IT managerswho seek to shape their organizations in today’s cutting-edge technology-based world, focusing on managing oneself and others, and increasing imployee well-being and performance while working in dynamic and complex environment.
MBA in Global Leadership and Management The MBA in Global Leadership and Management program seeks to develop professional skills in students needed to successfully lead an organization in a global environment. This is a degree program of the School of Management (SOM), Tribhuvan University (TU) in association with the School of Management & Economics, Graduate School of Global Management and Leadership, Handong Global University (HGU), Republic of Korea. The Program will be based on the MOU signed between TU and HGU.
The main objective of MBA in GLM at SOMTU is to equip students with analytical capabilities and skills to enable them to do their own business or take up leadership positions in international business, multilateral agencies, and INGOs.”Our target is to make them entrepreneurs just after the completion of the course. But the course also helps them become managers.
